You're Not Imagining It

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder that causes irregular periods, acne, weight gain, excess hair growth, and other symptoms. It is incredibly common - affecting about 10% of women - but most with PCOS don't know they have it.
Why? Because these symptoms are constantly dismissed as "temporary hormones" or blamed on not trying hard enough. By the time most people get diagnosed, they have been dealing with symptoms for years.
I created this tool after being diagnosed with PCOS. But the diagnosis was not a problem, it was an answer. Symptoms I had dismissed for years were suddenly connected with a possible solution in sight.
I soon realized many women I knew had the same diagnosis. Or worse, they had symptoms but no diagnosis at all. PCOS is severely underresearched, and most people who have it don't even know.
If you have been told your irregular periods are just stress, your acne is a hygiene issue, or your fatigue means you are lazy - this is for you.
This is not a diagnosis. It is a validation tool - a way to recognize patterns in your symptoms and get the language you need to advocate for yourself with doctors.
By answering questions about symptoms you may have connected to PCOS, you will learn what is actually happening in your body and get specific scripts for talking to healthcare providers about these issues.
This assessment takes about 5 minutes. Your answers are completely private and will help you understand if PCOS might be worth discussing with your doctor.
